LABOUCHERE ROULETTE STRATEGY
The Labouchere Roulette Strategy is also called “The Cancellation System”. This roulette strategy has several variations but in its simplest form, you need to write down a series of growing numbers, for example – 1 2 3 4 5 6. The series can be either short or long and not necessarily sequential but it may look like this – 1 1 2 2 3 5 8. In order to start carrying out the roulette strategy, you need to take a piece of paper where to write down the numbers. With the Labouchere Roulette Strategy you need to bet on a colour of your choice (red or black) and to bet on it till the end of the cycle. Each of the numbers in the series represents the amount of money or chips the roulette player needs to bet.
Example 1:
Let’s write down on a piece of paper the following series – 1 2 3 4 5 6.
In this case your first bet would be a sum of the first and the last number of the series – 1 + 6 = $7.
If you win, you need to cross out the first and the last numbers of the series (the numbers that we summed up before – 1 and 6). After we cross them out our series will look like this – 2 3 4 5, and therefore our next bet will be $7 again – the sum of the first and last numbers of the series (2 + 5 = 7). If you win again, you will cross out 2 and 5 and the series will look like this – 3 4. Your next bet will be 3 + 4 = $7 and if you win again, you will cross 3 and 4 out and you won’t have numbers in the series any more which means that you have completed one game.
Example 2:
The series that I choose and write down on a sheet of paper is – 1 2 3 4 5.
My first bet will be $6 (1 + 5 = $6). If I lose it I need to add the lost bet of $6 to the end of the series so it will look like this – 1 2 3 4 5 6. My second bet will be $7 (1 + 6 = $7). Let’s say that I lose again, which means that I have to add 7 to the series and it will look like this – 1 2 3 4 5 6 7. My next bet will be $8 (1 + 7 = $8) and if I win this time, I will cross out the first and the last numbers of the series – 1 and 7. After that the series will look like this – 2 3 4 5 6 – and my next bet will be $8 (2 + 6 = $8). If I win again, I will cross out 2 and 6 and the series will be 3 4 5. I continue to bet till all the numbers in the series are crossed out and then the series is completed. You will see that when this happens, you will have always generated profit.
Another variant of the Labouchere Roulette Strategy is the Reverse Labouchere Roulette Strategy. In this variation you need to add one number to the end of the series when you win, and cross out the first and the last numbers of the series when you lose.
