Alabama with Bills to Deter Gambling

Bad news for Alabama's gaming fans. According to a Montgomery Advertiser report, Alabama may get tougher and tougher on gambling. Two new Senate bills are proposed and approved at committee stage. The report also explained that the bills aspire to deter illegal pop-up casinos. The new bill would also reclassify the gambling related misdemeanours from Class A misdemeanour to Class C felony.
