Benny Chen Wins the First "Millionaire Maker" Title at WSOP

A dream came true for the 32-year-old Benny Chen. The restaurant manager from Stratford, Prince Edward Island won the first “Millionaire Maker” tournament at World Series of Poker. Chen collected his first WSOP gold bracelet and earned $1,199,104 for finishing at first place.

Benny Chen works and manages his brother’s restaurant and he plays poker recreationally and for fun. But he defeated Michael Bennington and won the first "Millionaire Maker" title at WSOP. Bennington won $741,902 for becoming second.

The “Millionaire Maker” tournament has exceeded even the most optimistic projections by drawing 6,343 entries.
