Canada is Getting A New Sports Betting Bill

Recently, many countries have been facing some new trials, court meetings and negotiations as to their sports betting and gambling in general legislations and licenses.

The situation is almost the same here, in Canada. It seems that Canada will get a new sports betting bill. After several months of discussions, in 2012 Canada has approved the so famous C-290 sports betting bill. The bill did not solve most of the problems that the country is trying to defeat, when it comes to gambling. Three years later, during this summer the new elections in Canada have lead to the disapproval of the bill and currently the local authorities are trying to find a new solution that will handle both – the transparency in sports betting sphere and the anti-money laundry program that will finally work. We will see whether some of the bookmakers will get hurt due to the new measures.
