Dominik Nitsche Won the World Poker Tour

The 22 year-old German player Dominik Nitsche won the first ever World Poker Tour event that took place in South Africa. Dominik Nitsche took home $206,000. The WPT was held in the beautiful city Johannesburg at the Emperors Palace Poker. 230 players visited the WPT event including international stars like Liv Boeree, Melanie Weisner, Joe Cada, Chris Moneymaker and Raymond Rahme. We remind you that the German Nitsche won the World Series of Poker bracelet this summer. 2012 was a markedly successful year for the young German player and the World Poker Tour victory moves Nitsche up to the 34th position in the overall ranking.
