Frank Fahrenkopf is Stepping Down

American Gaming Association Chief Frank Fahrenkopf announced yesterday, January 7th, that he will step down June 30. Frank Fahrenkopf has headed the country’s main casino industry lobbying organization since its inception in 1995. Frank Fahrenkopf Jr. said that he and the American Gaming Association board began planning for Frank Fahrenkopf Sr.’s departure two years ago. They are expecting a smooth transition when he ends his tenure after 17½ years. The name of a possible successor hasn’t been named.
