Imed Ben Mahmoud Won The First Event At 2012 WSOP

The 37-year-old Tunisian Imed Ben Mahmoud is the First-Ever World Series of Poker Europe winner from its country. Imed Ben Mahmoud won his first WSOP gold bracelet and €147,099. The Kitchen worker from the smallest country in North Africa began Day 3 sixth in chips, but he quickly maneuvered to the the top. At the end he eliminated Yannick Bonnet, leaving him second, and Matan Krakow on third place.

At this year’s WSOP 227 players took part. But only Imed Ben Mahmoud made it to become famous as the first winner of 2012 World Series of Poker and he definitely did his country proud.
