This April Daniel Negreanu won the Main Event at the inaugural WSOP Asia-Pacific in Melbourne, Australia. This was the 1st 2013 WSOP bracelet for Canada and just the begining. Now the French-Canadian Jason Duval became the latest Canadian champion during the 44th Annual World Series of Poker.

The 23-year-old student from Quebec won the 7th 2013 WSOP bracelet for Canada and with that honor also the cash prize - $521 202. This might be the seventh victory for Canada this year but it is the first for Jason Duval.

Along with Duval six other Canadians won WSOP gold bracelets during the 2013 World Series of Poker.
