Poker Player Maria Ho Was Sure That She Is Going To Be A Professional Player

Maria Ho, now 29, was sure that she wants to be a professional poker player, right after she got her college diploma in 2005. She took part in the ceremonies for graduation together with her classmates and right after that jumped on the plane to Las Vegas to take her seat at the World Series of Poker.

Since 2005, she has cashed thirteen times at that world famous tournament and her earnings are nearly 960,000 dollars. In 2007, Ho was the last woman player, eliminated at the Main Event. Then she finished in 38th place. Her best achievement was last year, at the $5,000 buy-in No Limit Hold`em event, when she placed second and got a prize of $540, 020.
