Rafael Nadal Challenged 200 Fans to Play Online Poker Against Him

The 26-year-old Spanish tennis superstar Rafael Nadal challenged 200 of his fans to play online poker against him. The online poker tournament was free to enter and played by using tablets or mobile phones on the PokerStars mobile app.

Rafa Nadal, who joined PokerStars last year, was improving his poker skills over the past 12 months with the help of his personal poker coach Alfonso Cardalda . Rafa finds that poker is a game that is very similar to tennis and that playing poker is a perfect way to keep mentally alert. And not to forget that playing online poker is a wonderful  way for Nadal to have some fun with his fans.

In Paris 200 lucky PokerStars players got to meet Rafael Nadal and play in a special online poker tournament with him. The seven times French Open winner and the other poker players meet and played at a Paris tennis club, which was only a few minutes away from the famous clay courts of the legendary Roland Garros tournament.

The lucky winner of the online poker tournament was Kinkin.a.60 on PokerStars.fr.

And now when the online tournament is over, Rafa Nadal is concentrating on tennis. He will defense its title and he will look to win a record-extending eighth title.
