The Winner At $2,500 Six-Handed Limit Hold`em Event Is Ronnie Bardah

26.06.2012 | Antoan Tok

Ronnie Bardah, 29-year-old, won his first WSOP bracelet at the $2,500 Six-Handed Limit Hold`em event and got prize money as well in the amount of $182,088.

His story does not begin at the 2012 World Series of Poker, but back in a working-class city, called Brockton. Actually, there was nothing in his background that could give even a hint that he would become a professional poker player and even win a gold bracelet.

Bardah`s name was heard two years ago, when he managed to outlast more than six thousand poker players in the 2010 WSOP Main Event Championship. He was about to make his final determined run, when he became a victim of his body. His muscles began twitching in series of seizures and contractions and he was not able to control his body parts. So on the seventh day of the tournament, Bardah had to be at the emergency room instead of playing.

So after this personal disaster, he is really happy with his victory this year.
