There Is A New Winner At WSOP, 71-Year-Old Tapscott

This week on Sunday, was held the largest live Omaha High-Low Split poker tournament, and the winner is 71 year-old Herbert Tapscott. He won his first WSOP (World Series Of Poker) bracelet and proved that anything is possible in the gambling world and it is never too late to become a winner on the big poker stage. He overcame a field of 967 players and collected a prize of $264,400.

Tapscott has previously won two cashes at the WSOP Circuit, which happened a few years ago and he also won a gold ring in 2010, in January, at the buy-in No-Limit Hold`em event. But nothing could be compared to the thrill and excitement that Tapscott felt when he remained the last finalist at this tournament.

This event took three full days to be completed, and there was also a three- hour round on the fourth day, which was not scheduled.
