This is the Worst Year Ever for Atlantic City
It seems that 2013 is going to be the worst year ever for the Atlantic City casino industry. For the 12 Atlantic City casinos this is definitively the worst year in the last 22.
For the first six months of 2013, the casinos won 10.7 percent less than the same period last year. That makes only $1.38 billion till July.
Each one from the 12 casinos posted a monthly revenue decline in June.
Even the numbers from the first-half of the year are concerning, a good performance in the prime of July and August could still boost the industry past the $3 billion mark by the end of 2013.
