27 RACEHORSES DIED IN A FIRE
It was reported that a big fire at the Charles Town Races in Charles Town, Virginia, caused the terrible death of twenty-seven racehorses. The local fire marshal described the fire as the worst fire he had ever witnessed involving animals. The fire was so big that they couldn't save the animals and witnesses say that they could hear the horses banging at the walls and screaming out of pain.
