84-year-Old Lady Won the Florida Lottery

The 84-year-old Gloria C. MacKenzie of Zephyrhills is one lucky lady. And this super lucky old lady won the Florida Lottery. The $590.5 million jackpot from the Powerball drawing held on May 18th was claimed by Ms. MacKenzie. She has chosen to receive her winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment in the amount of $370,896,780.84.

Ms. Gloria C. MacKenzie said that she will split her winnings with her son Scott as they have agreed before to the Lottery drawing. In the name of the Florida Lottery the Secretary Cynthia O'Connell wishes Ms. MacKenzie every happiness with her new fortune.
