The staff of the hotel in London became suspicious because the 30-years old presumptive sportsman who racked up a £2,400 bill, was apparent too fat to be a rugby player. Because of his overweight Hoare looked out of condition to play a physically demanding sport as rugby. It turned out that Christopher Hoare was a gaming addict, who was on the run from the police. According to Hoare's lawyer he is trying to take control over his addiction and have a normal life.
