Guinness World Record Recognized Ironman Poker Challenge as the “Longest Continuous Poker Tournament”

The 2012 Ironman Poker Challenge at the Casino at Delaware Park was officially recognized by the Guinness World Record as the “Longest Continuous Poker Tournament”. The certificate was presented earlier this month.

The Delaware Park’s Ironman Poker Challenge started on Saturday, August 25th 2012, at noon and run without breaks till Monday, August 27th 2012, 12:36 a.m. The tournament continued 36 hours, 34 minutes and 11 seconds. A total of 192 players took part. Peter Konas from the Czech Republic became tournament champion and won $27,160.
