Macau Casinos Report Growth

            The casinos in Macau report revenue growth of more than 60% for January compared to the same period during 2009. While the Las Vegas casinos are strongly affected by the recession, the share prices of the casinos in Macau are raising.

 

            Macau is the only area on the territory of Republic of China where gambling is legal. Gambling was made illegal in China in the 1950s together with prostitution and drugs.
