Rivers Casino Tax will Fund 19 Civic Projects

Taxes raised from the Rivers Casino will now fund 19 projects that are civic and related with, education, environmental, arts and other fields, the Trib Live reported.

The report also explained that the money has been redirected from a proposal for a convention centre in Pittsburgh, which have failed.

According to the Trib Live report, in total $6.5 million in grant funding has been awarded in grants.
