The matter with the St. Louis casino is definitely settled. Caesars Entertainment Inc. has sold the St. Louis casino to Penn National Gaming. On Friday in a regulatory filing Caesars confirmed that the $610 million deal is closed. The Harrah’s St. Louis Casino and Hotel is already property of Penn National Gaming, Inc. and it is forseen that the casino will be rebranded by the Penn National Gaming as the Hollywood Casino St. Louis.
Caesars Entertainment confirmed also that it will use the proceeds from the deal to renovate a few of the company’s Strip resorts and to pay down some old debt.
