State Senator Brenda Council Pleads Guilty
The Nebraska State Senator Brenda J. Council pleads guilty violating the funding of campaigns of laws in relation to gambling.
Brenda Council, who is currently seeking re-election, is a labor lawyer and represents the 11th District in the Nebraska State Legislature. She admitted to have a really serious gambling problem. State Senator B. J. Council spends too much time in casinos, at the tables and slots. One of the casinos, that she visits, is the northeast Kansas Sac and Fox Casino. State Senator Brenda Council also admitted that she have commit a serious mistake in judgment.
The Nebraska State Senator confessed to have made 36 withdrawals for her campaign account for the purposes of gambling. The withdrawals have a total value of $63,000. Till now $36,000 of those funds were deposited in cash.
