Till now David Baker is head of the players list for this years “Player of the year”. Baker’s great accomplishments at this years World Series of Poker ensure him the leader position in the race for 2012's best player.

This summer “ODB” cashed out at an astonishing 9 WSOP events and his overall take was $800,000. In 4 of the World Series of Poker events that David Baker took part, he finished among the top 10.

Up to eleven tournament results determine the player’s score. Up to six results will be taken from January 1st through June 30th and the other five results will come from the tournaments from July 1st to December 31st. So far David “ODB” Baker is the only player with 4 qualifying scores from performances for the second half of the calendar year.
