The Showboat Casino Hotel Fire Under Investigation

After the fire at the Showboat Casino Hotel on Wednesday was extinguished, the fire officials in Atlantic City officially announced that the small fire and its causes are under investigation. On Wednesday at about 7:45 p.m. in a guest room on the fifth floor started a small fire. All guests on three floors were evacuated for an hour. The smoke alarms were activated timely and the sprinkler system brought the fire under control, so only one room burned.

A casino spokeswoman announced that fortunately no one was injured.
